Olympia has been highly ranked for its
transportation offerings, which include biking, walking, buses, carpooling, and
vanpooling. The city has over 32 miles of bike lanes and ten miles of
interconnecting trails, making it both bicycle-friendly and scenic. However,
there are other modes of transportation available. Walking is also a popular
physical activity in town, with the city promoting it as a healthy exercise. If
you have a longer trip to take, carpooling and vanpooling networks can be of
assistance. Alternatively, you can avail of low- or even no-cost Intercity
Transit Bus passes through various programs for students and city, county, and
state employees. There’s a lot for Olympian residents to enjoy living here.

Olympic Flight Museum
The Olympia Regional
Airport in Olympia, Washington, is home to the Olympic Flight Museum, founded in 1998. This non-profit
organization is focused on preserving and flying vintage aircraft. The museum
was established to unite people and allow them to relive and discover aviation
history. The museum's primary objective is to provide every visitor with an
immersive experience of the sights, sounds, smells, and excitement of flight. I
like this museum because it makes me go back to the history of flight. It's
amazing to see vintage aircraft and realize that everything we have now started
from these aircraft at the museum.
Low Tide Hits Olympia
Beachcombers, low tides in Olympia this week
will reach their lowest summer points. The lowest will be on Wednesday at 3
p.m. at 3.49 feet below average. Tides will gradually move closer to average
levels by the end of the week. Please be mindful of not disturbing animals during
low tides. Leave buckets behind and avoid stepping on eelgrass or turning over
rocks to displace shore crabs. Respecting ocean life by not disturbing or
bothering them is very important. Just let them be and watch them to be amazed.
What a nice ambiance. Definitely, beachcombers will know how to avoid the ocean
life. Read
